Hotels Near US National Parks
I’ve already mentioned several hotels and resorts in or near US national parks, including super luxurious Amangiri near Bryce Canyon National Park and the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. However, I decided to mention a couple of other options, which might help assuage any concerns you have about having to “rough it’ in order to visit our American treasures.

The Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole is only 1 mile from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park, located in northwestern Wyoming. Named for Grand Teton Mountain, which at 13,775 feet (4,199 m) is the tallest peak in the Teton Range, the park has numerous lakes and streams, making it a popular area for fly-fishing.
Over sixty species of mammals live in Grand Teton National Park, including gray wolves, large herds of elk (the migration route between the National Elk Refuge and Yellowstone National Park is through Grand Teton), bison, moose, bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, American black bears, and coyotes.
Yellowstone National Park is also within daytrip distance of the Four Seasons and, in addition to five-star amenities, the resort offers a wildlife safari program, complete with an in-house wildlife biologist.
Summer packages often include multiple nights of accommodations, paired with self-guided tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, gourmet picnic baskets for days of touring, and daily breakfasts at the resort.
Another option: Big Sky Resort, located in Big Sky, Montana, is about a 1 ½ hour drive from Yellowstone. Here, you have a choice of vacations rentals ranging from Small Cowboy Cabins to elegant townhomes.

Glamping in national parks doesn’t offer the posh amenties of the Four Seasons or Amangiri, but it ‘s much cushier than you might think. Read about glamping options in Denali National Park in Alaska.
President Obama’s executive order aimed at boosting international tourism to the United States calls for speedier visa processing, a visa waiver program for qualified applicants, and shaking up appointees to the U.S. Travel and Tourism Advisory Board.
So whether you live in America or another country, this is a great time to explore U. S. national parks. In fact, Grand Teton is one of the easiest to access: the Jackson Hole Airport is the only commercial airport located within a U.S. National Park.
