Learn French, Travel With Your Tutor
Learn French while traveling with your teacher in Eastern France. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
Our Parisian friend Pascale Heuzé previously shared her ideas about souvenir shopping and provided suggestions for living like a local in Paris. Now she wants to help you learn French. Read on…
I’m a real French tutor living in Paris and also native from Eastern France. I really enjoy sharing this part of France with some of my students who are looking for a friendlier atmosphere to be able to learn French.
From the small village (2 hours driving from Paris) where I go over the weekend, I now offer 3 different itineraries: Burgundy, Champagne, or Lorraine. Each trip is personally planned by me according to my knowledge of these regions. I was born in Lorraine and also know Champagne and Burgundy quite well.
Learn French With Me
Here is how it works: I’ll pick you up at your Paris hotel or your apartment. Then we’ll drive in my car to my country cottage where you will be my guest. Here you can enjoy the calm and charm of the real French countryside. If you prefer, guest accommodation can be arranged in the next village.
From here we will continue to the region of your choice, visiting nice areas and towns (Chablis, Beaune, Reims, Nancy …) with some food and wine tastings and interesting cultural places. During your tour, I will encourage you to learn French by using it to speak with me and with the locals we meet.
My French-learning guests enjoy this kind of immersion not only because they really improve their fluency and vocabulary in a nice surrounding, but they also like to discover another side of French culture, and this not so far away from Paris.
Each tour is unique, and I will arrange your trip according to your interests. I’ll be more than happy to send to you some itineraries with detailed program and suggested accommodation upon your request.

About me
I created « Paris Version à la Française » a few years ago to offer my help to all foreigners arriving in Paris and wanting to meet us, Parisians, to share our culture and to discover our way of life.
Its seems natural to me to do it in French and to give the opportunity to speak and learn our language to all the people who are looking for it.
Thus I became a French teacher for foreigners.
I hope you’ll decide to let me help you learn French.

Nice post Pascale. Being immersed in a culture to try and learn the language is most definitely the best way to do it. We jumped in at the deep end by opening a business in the French Alps without a complete grasp on the language… 6 months later and we have no trouble with understanding and speaking with the locals.
Good luck, and great pic of Nancy!
Great article.
