Pardon Our Dust – Win A Prize
Dear Subscribers,
We’re making some changes to Authentic Luxury Travel that should improve your experience when you visit the site.
For the most part, it’s going to be unobtrusive – except there’s a possibility that when we re-set the mail delivery, it may go berserk and send you a raft of articles you’ve already seen. Maybe as many as ten.
I’m really sorry about that and - in case it happens – I hope you’ll bear with me. The flow of new posts will return this week. I also have exciting new Getaway contests for subscribers in the pipeline.
In the meantime, I’m going to experience a natural wonder that’s been on my bucket list for a long time. If you can guess where I’m going, I’ll send you a free travel book. (Limited to the first 50 correct answers.)
Need a hint? Look at the photo above – then leave a comment below.
Thanks for your patience.
Cheers,

You’re going to Alaska! Lucky you.
Looks like the Aurora Borealis. And the best places to view are from: Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Canada, and Alaska. If I have to choose one, I’ll opt for Sweden.
You’re going to see the Aurora Borelis!….and my guess is in most likely Alaska.
Aurora Borealis in Iceland, enjoy it
That is a great picture of the Aurora Borelis.
I’m guessing Alaska or Iceland
Iceland is on my list so I’m fussing its on yours as well…
Hmmm the autocorrect strikes again…that would be guessing not fussing )
Alaska.
My guess is Iceland.
Norway…
Wishing you lots of fun – and clear skies – in ALASKA (pic is from Alaska portal!) – whereever you’ll be near the Arctic circle.
Make sure you keep warm!
KIka
Ny guess is Iceland, if so Lucky You!
Yellowknife, the capital of Canada’s Northwest Territories
Thanks to everyone who guessed where I’m going. The five subscribers who said “To Alaska to see the Aurora Borealis” are correct. We leave on Monday, and I’m really excited. This experience has been on my bucket list for a long time, and I decided to take my own advice and just do it. However with current temps in San Diego hovering around 72, it’s going to be quite a shock to deplane in Fairbanks where daytime highs are in the 40s. Wish me luck!
Before I leave, I want to mail the travel books I promised the winners of this mini-contest. Kika, Kari, Andy, Susan, and Andrews – please use the contact form on Authentic Luxury Travel and send me your mailing address.
Cheers everyone…
Elizabeth
