News about the Delicious La Jolla Foodie Getaway
I think apologies are in order.
Last week I launched the “Delicious La Jolla Foodie Getaway” on www.LaJollaTravelInformation.com and invited Authentic Luxury Travel subscribers to enter the contest.
However, my mind must not have been fully engaged when I asked that this question be answered in the comment form at the end of the La Jolla Foodie post: If you could dine anywhere in La Jolla, where would it be?
What was I thinking? You probably haven’t been to La Jolla, so you don’t have a favorite restaurant.
So apologies – and many thanks to the friends who pointed out my error.
I’ve now added an alternate question (What is your favorite restaurant - anywhere in the world?) and I hope you’ll go to the Delicious La Jolla Foodie Getaway and enter the contest.
La Jolla, California, is San Diego’s favorite coastal neighborhood. The winner + one will spend three nights – or longer – dining in La Jolla’s best restaurants, sipping California wines, and enjoying our craft beer.
The prize includes places at The Artisan Table at A. R. Valentien, the signature restaurant at the Lodge at Torrey Pines (overlooking the renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course). It also includes dinner for two at THE MED at La Valencia, La Jolla’s beautiful pink Spanish-style hotel (with an amazing ocean view).
Winners will also feast on San Diego’s favorite tacos, take part in cooking classes at Sur La Table, and have a chance to “talk food” with award-winning chefs.
Lodging will be in a one- or two-bedroom coastal vacation rental home, which could include an ocean view, swimming pool, or hot tub.
I’m really excited about being able to offer two San Diego-area Getaway contests – the “Romantic Getaway” on Authentic Luxury Travel (this site) and the “Delicious Foodie Getaway” on La Jolla Travel Information. I hope you’ll enter them both.
Thanks and cheers,

Lupita, I moved your comment to the Delicious La Jolla Foodie contest at http://lajollatravelinformation.com/2013/10/win-a-la-jolla-foodie-getaway.html Thanks for entering.
My favorite restaurant in the world is a small pizzeria in Paris. It is a block away from the Louvre called Pizza Oskian. Tastes like Italy.
Hi Andy, I moved your comment over to the “La Jolla Foodie Getaway” contest on http://www.LaJollaTravelInformation.com Cheers, Elizabeth
No place to leave a comment on that page above. My favorite is The Crab Catcher.
Okay, I’m not trying to be funny, but there’s nothing like In ‘N Out Burgers – smooth, savory, cheap, fresh, and wonderful.
